About
I am one of the Next-Gen Pastors at Christ’s Church of the Valley in San Dimas, CA. I grew up in Southern California where, at the age of 16, I made the life change to begin to follow Jesus. After hitting rock bottom my junior year, my prayer was simply, “Lord, the life I live is now yours. Do with it as you will.” This is the same prayer that led me into ministry and is the same prayer I continue to pray daily.
My wife, Julie, and I got married in 2007 and share a passion for the next generation. Julie is currently the head women’s water polo coach at Azusa Pacific University in Southern California and has her Masters degree from California Baptist University.
I attended Azusa Pacific University, received a B.A. in Biblical Studies and am completing my Master of Arts in Theology from Fuller Theological Seminary. I should be done in March 2013.
There are many things that I have a passion for, but one of my greatest joys is to see God transform lives. Regardless of where, when, or who is around to spark the life change that only God can bring, I whole-heartedly support the world-wide church. Many people describe me as a passionate leader and speaker who spreads the truth in word and deed each day. My desire is to have an eternal impact on the next generation and next generational leaders. Overall, the question I ask daily to myself is, “Am I being effective for the Kingdom of God?” Join me in this journey along the way.
